JULIE BRAUN - 1/2 of the Dynamic Duo of Super Interns.
Julie Braun is a visionary in the entrepreneurship arena. She is creative and dynamic in her approach to providing her customers with a product/service that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.
Julie sees the big picture and it not afraid to challenge the status quo. She has the character to stick with a great idea through the good and bad and constantly tweaks the process to continue to drive growth.
Unlike many leaders, Julie also listens and values the input of those around her. She constantly seeks out feedback from those within her organization and she is not afraid to compliment and reward people for their contribution. Beyond her business pursuits, Julie is also very involved in the Greater New Haven community.
Julie’s supershero powers are a keen sense of smell and a powerful ring that can shoot a beacon into the sky and summon an army of Super Interns in a flash. Julie’s interests include fashion, design, art, reading, listening to music, and cooking up vegetarian creations.
MICHELLE DEMERS - 1/2 of the Dynamic Duo of Super Interns
Michelle Demers is a multifaceted career woman whose adventures include being a scientist, fundraiser, serial entrepreneur, business coach, marketing consultant, information product creator, author, and speaker.
In the past several years as a partner at Julie Braun Design, Michelle has worked with oodles of interns on client projects as well as in the growth and development of Super Interns itself. Michelle greatly enjoys being a mentor and helping her interns to grow personally and professionally.
When she’s not being a supershero, swinging from building to building or whipping up snacks in a jif, Michelle enjoys hiking, kayaking, discovering new restaurants, and karaoke. Michelle has always been an active community member, volunteering at animal shelters, wildlife rehabilitation facilities, state parks, and fundraising events for charity, including the Susan G. Komen 3-Day/60 mile cancer walk for the cure.
